The Certified Financial Planner Designation, A Sign of Excellence

The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP) designation has been the global standard of financial planning excellence for over 30 years.

At Tupicoffs all of our financial advisers either already hold the CFP certification or are in the process of completing it. The CFP designation is the highest available in financial planning, internationally recognised, and signifies a commitment to high ethical standards. The CFP credential is managed internationally by the Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. (FPSB) and its affiliates.

CFP professionals must meet education, experience and professional development requirements, then pass an exam to assess competency. They must also adhere to a code of ethics, and pledge to provide financial planning services that are in the best interests of their clients.

What does the CFP Designation offer clients?

  • Honesty and integrity from their adviser

  • Confidence that their financial planner will place their interests first

  • A professional who understands client’s needs and goals

  • Proficient professionals able to explain financial matters in simple terms

What does the CFP certification offer to financial advisers?

  • Recognition in 27 territories around the world

  • Confidence that they are amongst the best in the profession

  • Recognition of Prior Learning

  • Greater earning potential

With the importance and value of the CFP designation in mind, Tupicoffs is thrilled to announce that another of our independent financial advisers, Mr Mitch Buckley, has completed his CFP certification.
