Only 42 Independent Financial Advisors in Australia

Source: www.superguide.com.au

According to the superguide.com.au website on the 11th of September 2014, there are only 42 independent financial planners in Australia, all Tupicoffs planners are now included in this 42.

Independent advice broadly speaking needs to be unbiased, impartial, without conflict of interest, and in the clients best interest. If an adviser receives commission, renumeration, or can only recommend the products and services provided by their employers then they cannot be considered independent.

The importance however of independent advice cannot be overstated. If a client is paying a financial planner to look after their money, and the planner does not have their best interests in mind, then how valuable can the advice given be?

If advice is given based on commission or renumeration then it cannot be be given in the best interests of the client, and therefore is not what every client is paying their adviser for. The best possible advice.

Tupicoffs believe strongly in the value of independent advice and look forward to the superguide list of independent planners being much longer in the future.

In the meantime, if you want to invest in the benefits of independent advice now, please reach out through our contact page or give us a call on (07) 32213066.
