Barrons Inaugural Australian Top 50

In an exciting turn of events, US Financial News giant Barron’s has turned its attention, and its Financial Adviser rankings, on Australia.

Tupicoffs own Managing Director, Mr Neil Kendall has landed himself an enviable spot on the inaugural 2017 Australian Top 50 Financial Advisers.

Barrons is a powerhouse of the US financial services industry, they have been providing investment information to American investors for almost 100 years. In 2004 the idea was born that more than simply covering the worst of the investment world, the scams and what to avoid. People needed advice on who they could trust, who could have the big tick of Barron's approval that said this person is practising responsibly. Thus the birth of the Barrons top 100 advisor rankings.

Initially based on the amount of money advisors managed for their clients. Over the last 13 years they have started to differentiate between the types of advisors, and expanded the range of advisors data and how it was weighed. The criteria undergo consistent evaluation and evolution to ensure that Barrons metrics continue to provide accurate lists.

Now, in 2017, Barrons have launched the first iteration of the ‘Top 50 Financial Advisers in Australia' list. One of about 20,000 advisers in Australia it is an impressive feat for our managing director to have landed a spot in the first year.
