ASIC’s Moneysmart has compiled some fascinating statistics in its new article ASIC’s Moneysmart encourages Australians to stick to their financial goals in 2025 (25-002MR). Their data suggests approximately 52% of Australians set new year’s resolutions about their finances, but only about 12% actually manage to complete their resolution. However they haven’t stopped there. Moneysmart has also researched the barriers to completing financial resolutions, these included;

lack of knowledge
lack of time
